2025 Bow Launch: Bowtech Solution LS Goes Light, Proven 34 Hits Rock Solid

Bowtech Archery has unveiled two new additions to its lineup for 2025, and these bows promise to deliver exceptional performance tailored to different archery styles and different archers.

Whether you’re chasing pinpoint accuracy in competitive settings or seeking versatility on a hunt, the Solution LS and Proven 34 both offer cutting-edge technologies. These bows should be more than capable in the field, regardless of which field you enter.

Whether you’re looking for top-end performance in both hunting or competition shooting, or you want a more compact, lightweight bow to help you slip through the woods, Bowtech’s 2025 lineup has something for you.

Let’s take a first look at these new bows and gain some insight into which might be the best for you.

Bowtech Proven 34

  • Standard draw length: 25-30″
  • Axle to axle: 34″
  • Long draw option: 27.5-33″
  • Draw weight options: 50, 60, or 70 lbs.
  • IBO speed: Up to 336 fps (Standard Draw) or 331 fps (Long Draw)
  • Mass weight: 4.7 lbs.
  • Brace height: 6 5/8″ (Standard) or 7″ (Long Draw)
  • Price: Starting at $1,450

Bowtech’s Proven 34 aims to set the standard for serious hunters, blending stability, precision, and cutting-edge tunability. Built on a 34-inch axle-to-axle platform, this bow is designed to handle the demands of both the backcountry and the competition line. With options for standard (25-30”) or long (27.5-33”) draw lengths, the Proven 34’s versatility ensures a tailored fit for almost any archer (almost).

The bow debuts Bowtech’s 2nd Generation CenterMass Sight System, reengineered for better balance and sight visibility. By moving the sight weight closer to the riser’s center and reinforcing mounting security with dual screws, the system enhances both stability and ease of use.

The Proven 34 is outfitted with Bowtech’s DeadLock technology for quick and easy tuning. TimeLock allows cam adjustments with nothing more than an Allen wrench — no bow press required — making it highly convenient for DIY bow technicians. It also includes GripLock, letting users adjust the grip angle for improved hold and accuracy.

For hunters, the Proven 34 comes in several packages, including treestand and mountain-specific kits with quivers, stabilizers, and sight options.

Bowtech Solution LS

  • Draw length: Adjustable from 24.5″ to 30″
  • Axle to axle: 30″
  • Draw weight options: 50, 60, or 70 pounds
  • IBO speed: Up to 330 fps
  • Mass weight: 4.2 lbs.
  • Brace height: 6 3/8″
  • Price: Starting at $1,300

The Bowtech Solution LS takes everything archers loved about the original Solution and refines it for modern bowhunting. This latest iteration boasts a significant weight reduction, clocking in at just 4.2 pounds, making it ideal for hunters navigating dense woods, climbing into treestands, or trekking rugged terrain.

Building on the original Solution’s reputation, the Solution LS retains the performance of the former while enhancing maneuverability. The lighter build is said to improve handling without sacrificing the stability and control.

“With the Solution LS, we honored the legacy of the original Solution while enhancing its versatility with a lighter build,” said Todd Snader, Brand Manager at Pure Archery Group. “We’ve taken the elements that made the Solution iconic and refined them, giving archers the trusted performance they expect in a bow that’s even more field-ready.”

For bowhunters looking for power and mobility, the Solution LS offers a field-ready evolution of a fan favorite in an even lighter-weight package.

Which One Is Right for You?

The Bowtech Solution LS is an excellent choice for hunters and recreational shooters looking for high-end features in a more compact, affordable bow. Meanwhile, the Proven 34 appeals to those who prioritize stability and tunability for demanding hunts or competition scenarios.

With both bows being incredibly capable, it really comes down to size, weight, and budget.

The Proven 34 offers a long draw option for taller archers, while the Solution LS is more compact, offering easy maneuvering in tight wood/shooting situations. The Solution LS is also a lighter bow, offering a bit of relief for backcountry hunters looking to cut ounces.

As far as budget, you’ll save a few hundred dollars with the Solution LS over the Proven 34, but don’t worry; you’ll spend it on arrows and accessories eventually, anyway.

Initial Thoughts

Fortunately, we happen to have the Proven 34 in hand for testing and are just on the brink of getting it set up, kitted out, and ready to play with.

Much like most of the modern bows that we see these days, the technology and attention to detail seem on par with what we’d expect. The bow looks clean and has a top-tier feel without having too much heft.

Both of these bows look to be solid additions to the Bowtech lineup. We’ll be sure to update you when our full tests and reviews of the bows are completed.
