2026 Nissan Rogue Gets a $200 Price Bump and New ‘Dark Armor’ Trim

Nissan is adding a new trim to the Rogue crossover lineup for 2026. But what the company isn’t adding is much to the price. The 2026 Nissan Rogue lineup starts from $28,790, or $200 more than last year.
To get AWD, the Rogue starts from $30,190, another mild $200 increase.
2026 Nissan Rogue Adds Dark Armor
The latest addition to the Nissan Rogue lineup is called Dark Armor. It takes the mid-range Rogue SV and then gives it a load of black trim. That’s gloss black for the mirrors, the badges, the exterior pillar trim, and the grille. It also gets gloss black 19-inch wheels and satin-finish roof rails.
Nissan is giving the Dark Armor some actual protection, too. From parking lot crashes, that is. This trim adds an HD surround view monitor with moving object detection.
Comfort extras include a panoramic roof, faux leather heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
Adding black trim is hot in the auto industry lately. Nearly all of the Rogue’s competition offers a similar blackout package, including Toyota’s Nightshade grades and Honda and Mitsubishi’s Black Editions.
Rock Creek Off-Roader Sticks Around
A rugged model is the other hottest trend, and Nissan already had one of those. The Rock Creek model continues on with the 2026 Nissan Rogue. Rogue Rock Creek comes with 17-inch wheels wearing Falken all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned suspension, a special front fascia, and a tubular roof rack to help make it more adventure-ready.
Every 2026 Rogue comes with a 1.5L three-cylinder turbocharged engine. Nissan’s clever variable compression engine delivers 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, sent through a CVT. The combination makes it the most fuel-efficient gas-only AWD crossover anywhere.
The Rogue lineup starts with the S grade, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on an 8.0-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and a safety suite that includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot warnings, and more. SV adds a power hatch, power-adjust seat, adaptive cruise, and dual-zone climate control.
2026 Nissan Rogue Pricing
Rogue Rock Creek’s off-road extras start at $33,690, which is also $200 more than last year. The low prices stick around after Nissan slashed the MSRP of Rogue models by as much as $2,000 earlier this year. The SL starts at $35,290 and includes 19-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, heated leather seats, navigation, and a larger 12.3-inch center screen with digital dash.
Nissan’s top-of-the-line Platinum model is $38,990. It comes with standard AWD, panoramic roof, quilted semi-aniline leather seating with adjustment memory, Bose audio, and an extra lever to fold the second-row seats.
The 2026 Nissan Rogue is built in Smyrna, Tenn. Most versions are on sale now, though pricing and availability for the new Dark Armor will be announced later.
