REI Co-op XeroCloud 3L Rain Jacket — Men’s & Women’s: $189
The XeroCloud is REI’s most technical backpacking shell, which offers three-layer waterproof protection and move-with-you stretch. Its HydroWall waterproof/breathable laminate protects from heavy rains while letting body heat escape through more than just the pit zips. It’s also stretchy, thanks to a mix of recycled nylon and polyester materials, and a jersey backer makes it more comfortable against the skin.
Hiking-friendly details include articulated elbows, raglan sleeves, adjustable cuffs, a drawcord hem, and an adjustable hood. It also has a nonfluorinated DWR treatment to help water bead up (and move away) on the face fabric.

Therm-a-Rest NeoLoft Sleeping Pad: From $240
Yes, this plush pad is a backpacking pad. In fact, our testers named it the “most comfortable backpacking sleeping pad.” It packs down to a minuscule version of its lofted self, roughly the size of a 1L bottle.
The insulation has a 4.7 R-value, making it an all-season choice and with a rise of more than 4 inches off the ground, it’s the most car-camping comfort you’ll find in a backpacking build. If you’re on the fence about buying one, read our full review for more details.

Camp Accessories
Hydro Flask Camp Bowl & Camp Plate: From $17
These camp plates and bowls are made for camp life with a stacking/nesting shape and a two-layer construction that reduces temperature transfer. That’s good news when you’re holding a plate of food hot off the grill in your lap.
The bowls and plates are 18/8 stainless steel, so they’re tough, don’t absorb flavors, and are safe to put in the dishwasher once you’re back from camp.

More Brand Deals
Some deals can only be claimed online. Those include the hefty savings of 35% off the Yakima SkyBox 18 Carbonite Cargo Roof Box and 25% off all Pacsafe Travel Gear. There are also member-exclusive deals for 20% off all woom ORIGINAL Bikes.
Additionally, we found certain Nikon binoculars are also discounted online, with savings up to 20% off. Here are our picks:
Nikon Prostaff P7 8×42 & 10×42 Binoculars: From $160 (15% Off)
The Nikon Prostaff P7 binoculars are top-rated for their excellent value in overall optics, especially in lower light. We present two choices here (though there are more) for nature watchers and birders: 8×42 and 10×42. Both maintain a bright view thanks to the larger objective lenses (42).
The choice is between magnification power. An 8-power magnification is popular for birding because of the wide field of view, which helps you go from seeing something with the naked eye to finding it in your binoculars. Experienced birders and nature lovers also use 10-power magnification for a closer look, though that more narrow field of view presents a challenge if they are moving around.
The Prostaff P7 binoculars have a rubbery body for grip and protection from bumps. Their construction makes them waterproof down to 3.3 feet. They also have an oil- and water-repellent coating on the objective and eyepiece lenses to make it easier to wipe away smudges and moisture.
