Russia Warns Of An Escalation Over U.S.-Backed Strikes

Russia’s ruling class members are warning of an escalation after Washington authorized Kiev to carry out attacks on internationally recognized Russian territory using Western-supplied long-range weapons. The head of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), Aleksandr Bortnikov, has warned that this will inevitably lead to an escalation of the conflict.

Is This The Secret Reason Why Long-Range Missiles Have Been Fired Deep Into Russian Territory?

Bortnikov warned that Moscow must be prepared for any provocations from Washington, London, and their allies, specifically noting that United States President Joe Biden and his team were likely to aggravate the situation in the key global regions as much as possible before leaving office in January when the newly elected president will then reign.

“The consciousness of the Ukrainian population has been reformatted in a Russophobic vein. Land, mineral resources, and industrial production are being bought up en masse by transnational corporations. The territory has become a magnet for mercenaries and terrorists from all over the world. A global shadow market for weapons has been created, the transfer of which to other zones of instability is carried out on a permanent basis,” Bortnikov said according to a report by RT.

Biden has been accused by both sides of the political aisle in the U.S. of attempting to ignite World War 3 before he leaves office. Russia has repeatedly warned that it’ll take appropriate responses to this action, but so far has done little to dissuade the U.S. and Kyiv’s other Western backers from bowing out of the conflict.

“The main goal is to hinder the new administration’s potential opportunities for a political solution to the accumulated problems,” Bortnikov claimed.

The West is increasingly involving itself in a conflict that it cannot win. Ukraine is sustaining losses of both personnel and equipment, and much of the equipment was donated to it by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and it’s allies.
