AMM-Con Invites All to 2025 Conference

AMM-Con has generally been something for the gun media to attend. Bloggers, influencers, journalists, and the like were invited to attend panels that would help them not just grow professionally, but also make them more effective voices for the Second Amendment.

That is, obviously, a good thing.

This year, though, it’s open to everyone.

From a press release:

August 5, 2025 — The annual Alternative Mass Media Conference is scheduled and you’re invited! AMM-Con is being held in conjunction with the 40th Gun Rights Policy Conference (separate registration required).

AMM-Con and the launch of GRPC will be on Friday September 26, 2025 at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek in Salt Lake City, Utah.

GRPC is co-hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation and sister organization Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

For those of you who are established or aspiring journalists, bloggers, video media personalities, podcasters, or have a general interest in new media, you need to check out AMM-Con. Previously, AMM-Con was exclusive to media members only, but we recognize that each of us — through our friends, family and social media — can help spread the message.

You can register to be a participant of AMM-Con at: saf.org/2025-amm-con/

Some topics that are scheduled to be featured during the 2025 event:

● Making and using pitch sheets & earned media

● An editor’s perspective on what they’re looking for

● Rebranding with the times

● Attracting and retaining audiences

● A debate discussing the use of artificial intelligence in media

● And much more…!

We’re also pleased to announce the keynote speaker will be Michael Schwartz from Gun Owners Radio. Schwartz is a media personality, radio host, and the executive director of San Diego County Gun Owners PAC.

Mark your calendar for what’s going to be a great weekend of learning and advocacy! AMM-Con with GRPC are the Second Amendment networking events of the year!

This is actually not a bad idea for anyone who is interested in spreading the word regarding the Second Amendment. Maybe you’re not part of the 2A media at the moment, but this might show you ways you can spread this message using what platform you have.

And, if you’re interested in becoming part of that 2A media, this would do a lot to help you have an idea of just where you can and should start.

To say nothing of how not to potentially make a complete hash of it if you do.

Look, the truth of the matter is that the fight for the Second Amendment isn’t just relegated to the pages of publications like Bearing Arms. The anti-gunners don’t read us except to look for fodder to complain about, much like how we don’t read them unless we want to refute their claims. No one is changing anyone’s mind here.

But most people who can be convinced are convinced via debate, discussion, and instances of people talking in places like social media. You may not ever convince the guy you’re arguing with, granted, but people are watching who might realize they’ve gotten it wrong.

Every single one of us is a messenger for the Second Amendment.

If you can make it, AMM-Con is a great chance to become a better one.

Editor’s Note: Second Amendment groups and grassroots activists are doing everything they can to protect our right to keep and bear arms.
