Chevrolet Wants to Celebrate the Heartbeat of America All Over Again

Chevrolet wants to say happy birthday, America! To put its mark on the 250-year celebrations in 2026, Chevrolet is launching a range of Corvettes and pickups called the Stars & Steel collection. Each one will get special graphics and trim, and the sale of each vehicle will mean a donation to nonprofits that support veterans.
It’s a Party, But Not a Brash One
For marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, these Stars & Steel Chevys are surprisingly subtle in their designs. If you were hoping for something more rockets’ red glare and bombs bursting in air, maybe Ram will have something to show you in 2026.
Stars & Steel Silverado 1500
On the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Stars & Steel means an RST Crew Cab Short Box with the 6.2L V8. You can get white or black paint, and either way, you get a black interior.
Exterior changes include flag-inspired stripes in satin silver or satin black, along with 250 flag graphics. The pack also includes 22-inch high-gloss black wheels.
There are performance upgrades too, including a Brembo performance brake system and a new air inlet. Black badges, side steps, and a protection package including a spray-in bedliner are also part of the deal, with a soft tonneau cover wearing a special logo.
Big, Small, and EV Trucks Get Chevrolet Stars & Steel Treatment
The Silverado HD Special Edition comes on the LTZ Trail Boss Crew Cab with the 6.6 Duramax diesel engine. The truck gets a similar stripe package and graphics, but the wheels are only 20 inches in diameter. This one includes the Max Trailering package, a 5th-wheel prep package, side steps, a rolling bed cover, and more.
Colorado Stars & Steel is offered on top of the Trail Boss trim of that truck, too. The stripes and 20-inch wheels are paired with a sport bar and light bar that also have 250 graphics. Other upgrades include a bedliner, skid plate package, and tech package.
Even the Silverado EV gets the option on the RST trim. More flag-inspired stripes and a gray interior, along with 24-inch wheels and a new Brembo performance brake system, complete the special edition.
You’ll also be able to get the Stars & Steel stripes on any Chevy pickup next year. The appearance pack will be sold separately, but it doesn’t offer the other extras or bundled goodies.
Just 250 Chevrolet Corvette Stars & Steel Cars
The most desirable one might be the Corvette Stars & Steel. Chevy will only build 250 copies of the Corvette, but buyers can pick from the base Stingray all the way to the 1,250-horsepower ZR1X. These cars can be ordered in white with a blue cabin or black with red. They include stripes and special sill plates as well as black and red accents. Expect most of these to end up in collector garages instead of on the road, because Corvette buyers love special editions.
These special editions will get their first public appearance at the Army–Navy football game this weekend. Production will start in early spring 2026, with pricing to be announced later. And every one of the Stars & Steel edition vehicles will be assembled in the USA.
