Jeep Wagoneer Super Delivers Grand Appearance for Less

Jeep is working to make the Wagoneer more appealing and a better value. The new Jeep Wagoneer Super looks to help reverse the Wagoneer brand’s fortunes, bringing an old name and some features you couldn’t get before without stepping up to the Grand.
While the new Limited trim adds some extra visual appeal and other popular features without pushing buyers into a more expensive trim level.
Wagoneer Wants You Feeling Super
The Super Wagoneer was a luxurious model of the off-roader when it launched in 1966. Luxury then was a lot different from what it is today, so it added a more powerful V8 and swanky features like power steering and power brakes.
In 2025, the Jeep Wagoneer Super comes with a two-tone roof, body-color fender flares, as well as a premium soft-touch wrapped interior. All these features were previously reserved for buyers of the Grand Wagoneer and its grander price tag.
That’s all on top of the Wagoneer Series III and its premium options, including a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system and a tri-pane roof. The dark carbide headlights are also included. Jeep says it is more than $9,000 worth of stuff for a price hike of just $6,495.
The Super still has the standard Wagoneer’s 420-horsepower 3.0L Hurricane inline-six, not the 540-horsepower version in the Grand Wagoneer. But a Super $82,535, including destination, and a Grand Wagoneer Base is $87,040. A standard Series 3 is $76,040.
Limited Includes Big Wheels, Less Cladding
Jeep Wagoneer Limited starts with the Series II trim. Like the Super, the Limited gets special 22-inch wheels and body-color flares. It has chrome badges and black lower fascia cladding.
The real extras in the package are the power side steps, power-folding second and third-row seats, a three-pane sunroof, and the surround-view camera.
Adding most of the options to the Series II raises the price from $69,040 to $77,380 and includes some things Limited doesn’t. But Jeep Wagoneer Limited raises the Series II price from $69,040 to $76,535. So really, this one might serve to make things more complicated, and is more about the looks than the content.
