2026 Tundra TRD Pro Gets Taco’s Fancy Seats, and More Toyota Off-Road Vehicle Updates

The 2026 Toyota Tundra has good news for buyers who want more off-road comfort. The big Toyota pickup will now offer the fancy air ride seats from the Tacoma TRD Pro. Plus, the new TRD Pro paint color is here, and TRD Rally models get a very big optional lift kit.
2026 Toyota Tundra Is Making Waves, But They’re Small Ones
Wave Maker is the TRD Pro color of the year. We’ve already covered the paint announcement, but Toyota is hoping the new aqua blue will make a splash on its pickups and TRD Pro SUVs.
The 2026 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro will also add the brand’s ISO Dynamic seat, like the one already found on the Tacoma TRD Pro model. The ISO Dynamic seats use a shock absorber to smooth out both up-and-down and side-to-side movement.
This seat is meant to stabilize your head and neck when you’re pounding down a trail, with adjustable air pressures to suit your preference and weight. The seats will be an option, but Toyota hasn’t yet set a price.
Otherwise, the TRD Pro, as well as the TRD Off Road package trucks, carry over. Their off-road upgrades include an electronic locking rear diff, multi-terrain monitor cameras to see all around on the trail, and crawl control off-road cruise control.
The TRD Rally Package was launched last year as a limited edition with body-color accents and tri-color Toyota Racing graphics. It was an enhancement for TRD Off Road trim trucks. The 2026 Toyota Tundra will offer the package and sell it with an optional 3-inch TRD lift kit. The kit includes taller TRD springs, Bilstein shocks, new upper control arms, and more.
Small Changes for Other Models
Toyota’s swanky Capstone grade gets new Shale leather seats with more texture. Limited-grade trucks get a new leather seat pattern as well. TRD Off Road Platinum and 1794 trucks can now get power running boards.
Last year’s small gas tank on base-trim trucks is gone. Every 2026 Toyota Tundra will get the larger 32.2-gallon unit instead of just 22, though that really only affects SR and SR5-trim trucks. A tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector is also now standard across the line.
Power stays the same. Tundra offers a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 making 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, or the i-Force Max hybrid that adds an electric motor to the same engine for 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet. Both get a 10-speed automatic.
Sequoia Gets Similar Changes
The Tundra-based 2026 Toyota Sequoia SUV will get some of the same changes as the pickup. Those include the new leather for Capstone and Wave Maker on TRD Pro. But the big SUV won’t give you the ISO Dynamic seat option.
Toyota hasn’t announced pricing yet or said when the 2026 Tundra or 2026 Toyota Sequoia will arrive at dealers. Expect pricing for the truck to start close to last year’s, which was $40,090 plus destination for the base SR and $72,510 for the TRD PRO.
