Trump Tells Israel To Leave Lebanon, While Hypocritically Increasing Strikes On Iran

US ruler Donald Trump is hypocritically demanding that Israeli ruler Benjamin Netanyahu pull his military forces from Lebanon and Syria, as the US increases its strikes on Iran. “They don’t want you there. You should redeploy,” Trump reportedly told the Israeli leader.
Perhaps the warmongerer should take his own advice. Netanyahu insists on continuing the occupation of both Lebanon and Syria, while the US presses forward in its own war with Iran, which Israel assisted in starting.
Iran, Israel, And The United States All Say That They Are Ready For War
The reported push to end the occupation follows a meeting between Trump and Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit in Türkiye last week. According to Axios, the Trump administration has spent months trying to broker a new security arrangement between Israel and Syria.
In a statement released after the call, Netanyahu’s office said the prime minister had stressed “the need for security zones along Israel’s borders.”
Previously, Netanyahu has said that the military campaigns will not only continue, but they will also intensify until the utter destruction of the terrorist organization, Hezbollah, is complete.
The Jerusalem Post, citing defense officials, reported on Tuesday that the Israeli military was surprised by the Axios account and stressed there had been “no change on the ground” in either Lebanon or Syria.
Iran Attacked US Military Assets, After US Strikes An Iranian Tanker
The White House declined to comment on the details of the call and did not dispute Axios’ account, according to a report by RT. Instead, a US official reaffirmed Washington’s support for Israel, telling the outlet that “there has been no greater friend to Israel and a fighter for peace than President Trump.”
The widening rift between Trump and Netanyahu is hypocritical. Both want their wars to continue, and both want to keep their empires intact.
This news comes as Trump threatens to strike civilian infrastructure in Iran.
